Project BackGround

This project was part of the SE 3RA3 (Fall 2024) course. The assignment focused on writing a comprehensive Software Requirement Specification (SRS) for a conceptual application called ACME Visit . Proposed by HammerCorp Inc., the app envisions gamified and story-driven exploration experiences for tourists at historical sites, natural landmarks, and university campuses.

Project Objective

Our scope was limited to the requirements phase, not actual development. The objective was to simulate the real-world software engineering process at the requirement stage and produce a formal specification document that future teams could use for architecture design → development → testing & QA → deployment.

Learning Outcome

This project strengthened my ability to translate vague client needs into precise requirement specifications and enhanced my understanding of the SRS writing process. It provided valuable experience in requirement engineering, stakeholder communication, and structured documentation for large-scale software projects.
